The all-new Skoda Vision X SUV based on the concept of the same name will be revealed at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show. The corresponding announcement was made by Alain Favey, Skoda’s Sales and Marketing Director.
The new production vehicle will be based on the MQB modular platform. Rumor has it that it gets the exact same hybrid engine that came with the Vision X Concept. If so, then it is going to be powered by a 1.5-liter, V4, turbocharged natural gas engine with 130 hp (97 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb·ft) of torque, partnered with an electric engine and a battery set.
According to official data disclosed by the manufacturer, the Skoda Vision X Concept can accelerate 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 9.3 seconds and climbs all the way up to 200 km/h (124 mph).
