Skoda has announced a Sportline version of its first EV, the Enyaq. Compared to the vanilla car shown in the attached video, the Sportline rocks new stylistic touches and three powertrain variants to choose from.
Exterior novelty boils down to differently shaped bumpers, a fake grille, a spoiler, side skirts, badges, a rear diffuser, LED Matrix headlights (included in base spec), and 20-inch wheels (21-inch ones are optional). Seats inside are wrapped in artificial suede, pedals boast aluminum pads, and the steering wheel has three spokes.
The most affordable spec has rear-wheel drive, 179 PS (177 hp / 132 kW) and 400 kilometers (248 miles) of range. The middle-ground one also has RWD, but produces 203 PS (201 hp / 150 kW) and has superior range (520 km / 313 miles). The top of the line promises 265 PS (261 hp / 195 kW).
Shipments should begin soon, and prices will be announced shortly.
Later this year, Skoda will also be releasing a coupe/SUV version of the Enyaq with a slanted roof. The model is provisionally known as “Enyaq GT”, but this could change towards the launch.
