Skoda Enyaq transforms into a mobile office

Skoda has officially revealed the ninth prototype designed and built by the students of its engineering academy. The project is called Roadiaq and presents a camper for just one person running on Enyaq SUV basis. You can drive it as a car, live in it and work without limitations.

A special roof extension raises the height of the SUV to 2,050 mm (80 inches) while the other dimensions stay the same. Installing the add-on also necessitated a new tailgate, but the result is a much more spacious interior.

The extra space near the ceiling is used for storage. Once you come inside, there is a table to your left with a PC, a wireless keyboard and mouse, and a 27-inch display. The students say you can work from any part of the cabin thanks to the lack of wires and permanent Internet access.

To the left of the workstation is a sleeping area. There is also a folding dining table with chairs, a shower cabin and a kitchenette with a stovetop and a coffee maker. Solar panels supply the necessary electricity and you can recharge from external sources, too.

The front row only has one major addition (unless you count a revised trim) – a tablet-like display on a swiveling support that you can turn in any direction you like. Other than that, the tech stays standard.

As with other Skoda Academy concepts, mass production is out of the question.
