The Czech car manufacturer has commenced the road tests of its 2022 Fabia hatchback scheduled for launch next year.
The spy shots reveal what looks deceptively like a Volkswagen Polo, but this is not a coincidence: the new Fabia will be based on the same platform as the Polo while taking stylistic cues from the latest Octavia, Kamiq and Scala.
The engine range will include various turbocharged engines and a naturally aspirated three-cylinder. Transmissions will include manual and automated manual, and the company makes no mention of diesels of any kind.
Speaking of expected features, we would imagine the next-gen Fabia to get a much more spacious cabin that the current generation.
