The fourth-generation Fabia hatchback is nearly ready to debut, and this is what its outlines look like on the first teaser pic.
The car comes based on the same MQB-A0 platform as the Volkswagen Polo, which gives it more wheelbase, interior space, and trunk capacity. One of the more interesting exterior features comes in the form of a gently sloping roof culminating in a spoiler. The taillights and anti-fog lights are also new.
The Skoda Fabia Mk4 is expected to ship with 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engines burning petrol for 80 – 115 PS (79 – 113 hp; 59 – 85 kW, respectively). A naturally aspirated 1.0L engine is also likely to be available. Expected transmissions include DSG and 6-G M/T.
