The Czech automaker has shared a whole gallery of photos showing the next-gen Fabia supermini in a vivid wrap, and disclosed the main technical specifications.
We now know for a fact that the car is much larger than its predecessor in terms of both length and wheelbase. It also boasts an unusually low drag ratio for its vehicle class: 0.28. An adjustable front bumper stub is used to achieve this.
The new Fabia will ship with a 1.5-liter turbo four-pot rated at 150 PS (148 hp / 110 kW) and 250 Nm (183 lb-ft) of torque, obtainable only with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Those wishing to hold onto five-speed manual will have to make do with either a naturally aspirated three-cylinder or its turbocharged counterpart.
Other confirmed features include LED headlights and taillights, a digital dashboard, and a standalone central display.
The launch is expected later this year.
