4th-gen Skoda Fabia debuts with class-leading interior space

Skoda has taken its Fabia model to its fourth generation. Here is what the hatchback version looks like and what specifications it has.

Compared to its predecessor, the new car is 110 mm (4.3”) longer, almost 50 mm (2”) wider and has an extra 94 mm (3.7”) between the axles. Being based on the VW MQB-A0 platform makes it structurally robust and aerodynamic, which is aided by the new side mirrors, rear spoiler and active front bumper flaps.

The interior benefits from a new 10.25-inch digital dashboard, a multimedia system available with various display sizes, and a two-zone climate control system.

The engine range now consists of Euro 6d-compliant engines, including 1.0-liter naturally aspirated mills available in 65 PS (64 hp / 48 kW) and 80 PS (79 hp / 59 kW) forms and two turbocharged three-pots with 95 PS (94 hp / 71 kW) and 110 PS (108 hp / 81 kW). The most powerful option is a four-cylinder engine capable of 150 PS (148 hp / 110 kW). Transmissions include five-speed manual, six-speed manual and seven-speed DSG.
