Skoda won many prizes competing in the Monte Carlo Rally back in its glory days, and has since put the Monte Carlo badge on a whole range of cars, including Citigo, Rapid, Yeti, Scala, Kamiq and Fabia. The latter is now getting ready to don the badge once again.
The first teaser released last week focused on the body finish, which was red with black accents and what looked like black-lined headlight units. The new video shows a red left fender with the MC logo on it and briefly reminds us about the marque’s past rally victories.
It is official that the Fabia Monte Carlo will ship with a turbocharged three-cylinder under the hood rated at 110 PS (108 hp / 81 kW) and a six-speed manual transmission. The wheels will probably max out at 18 inches, the largest size supported by the model. They should match the darker body accents in color, too.
The hatchback will be fully revealed on next Tuesday, February 15, 2022.
