The latest Skoda Karoq SUV is already three years old, which means it is likely due a facelift. The barely camouflaged test vehicle sighted earlier today suggests that exterior changes will be minimal, however.
There are two possible explanations for the bumpers and lights being the only disguised areas. First, the 2021 Karoq refresh may be more focused on bringing new tech and power to the table than new styling. Second, the test vehicle may still contain the old interior, which will be updated later on. This should include making the dashboard digital and upgrading the infotainment system to the modern standards.
Note that the SUV hauls a trailer around: perhaps the company assesses its towing capabilities right now. If so, a new engine is reasonable to expect.
The refreshed Skoda Karoq will likely launch next year.
