Czech car maker Skoda has revealed an off-road variant of its Karoq mini-SUV, named the Scout. The vehicle will debut at the Paris International Motor Show later this year.
The Scout family already includes the mid-sized SUV Kodiaq and the estate version of Octavia.
The Skoda Karoq Scout series will ship with 4WD in all trim versions. Compared to the main series, it will have Scout badges on front fenders, silvery bumper moldings, a different body kit made of black plastic, tinted windows and 18-inch wheels.
Engine options include a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with 150 hp (112 kW) and two 2.0-liter turbo diesels rated at 150 and 190 hp (112 / 142 kW). Transmission choices are manual, semi-automatic, and seven-speed DSG.
Prices will be revealed later.
