Czech car company Skoda has released more photos showing the hi-end Kodiaq RS. It seems like the crossover vehicle will be getting a silvery-red badge this time around. Maybe this isn’t model-specific, and the entire RS family will be getting similar badges.
According to the official statement, the new logo underlines the power and sportiness of the RS lineup.
The seven-seat SUV will enter the market armed with a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine capable of around 240 hp (180 kW) and a 7-speed DCT. Some say the Skoda Kodiaq RS will accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.5 seconds, but this isn’t official.
The Czech car is the current champion of the Nürburgring in its own weight category. Piloted by professional racing driver Sabine Schmitz a few weeks ago, it managed to complete the lap in 9m 29s.
