Skoda has expanded its Octavia family to incorporate a “sported-up” Dynamic + edition. The car will be available in sedan/saloon and estate/wagon variants in Europe, with prices still unannounced.
Created by RS Design, the new trim version offers zero technical improvements over the regular Octavia. In terms of pure eye candy, it sports new bumpers, a differently looking front grille now painted black, a spoiler, and a rear diffuser. It ships with a choice between 17- and 18-inch light alloy wheels.
The interior of the special edition houses aluminum pedal pads, a sports steering wheel, and bucket seats.
The Octavia Dynamic + is not Skoda’s last premiere scheduled for 2019. Later on, the company will introduce the next generation of the Octavia series. This premiere will celebrate 60 years of the model on the market (the first Octavia left the assembly line in Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic, in 1959).
By 2022, the Czech car marque intends to introduce 30 new car models, one-third of which will feature a hybrid or all-electric powertrain in base.
