You can now order your crossover or hatchback with a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder turbo engine rated at 150 hp (112 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque.
This is the highest performance option for both models so far. As far as the transmission, you can choose between six-speed manual and seven-speed DCT. You can also deactivate half of the cylinders to save some gas when the extra power is not needed.
Equipped like this, the manual version of the Kamiq sprints 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 8.3 seconds, while the DCT adds 0.1 s to that number. The top speed is capped at 213 km/h (132 mph).
