First photos featuring the facelifted Skoda Superb series have recently emerged online, despite the fact that there has been no official premiere. The car is getting a revised exterior and an optional hybrid drivetrain in its next iteration.
Based on the images, the new Superb has narrow-slit headlights, a slightly retouched front bumper, and revised fog / brake lights.
According to an earlier announcement, the facelifted series will enter the market with a choice between a 1.5-liter turbo V4 engine (you may deactivate two out the four cylinders when not needed) and a hybrid powertrain. The latter comprises a 1.4-liter gasoline engine and two electric motors for a total of 215 hp (160 kW) and 50 km (31 mi) of all-electric range.
The refreshed Skoda Superb will celebrate its official reveal at the Geneva International Motor Show in Switzerland in the coming spring.
