1st updated 2019 Skoda Superb rolls off the line

Following the premiere of the facelifted Skoda Superb range during the IIHF World Championship in Bratislava, Slovakia in March 2019, the company has begun assembling the cars in Kvasiny, Czech Republic.

The 2019 Superb you can see here is reported to be the first copy to roll off the assembly belt. It sports a new radiator grille and has the manufacturer’s name spelled out on its trunk lid instead of the logo. It also now has LED Matrix headlights and comes in two additional paint schemes: Race Blue and Crystal Black.

The interior has more chrome trim elements than before and now houses a wireless garget charger along with door backlighting. The liftback version offers a whopping 625 liters (22.1 cubic feet) of trunk space, while the wagon has 660 l (23.3 cu. ft.).

The third generation has been around since 2015, and has found more than half a million owners.

Apart from the Superb range, the Kvasiny factory also assembles Karoqs and Kodiaqs. The hybrid-powered Skoda Superb iV will also be produced on this site.
