RaceChip has reported another success: this time around, the team has optimized the engine performance of the range-topping Skoda Superb 2.0 TSI.
Once the RaceChip GTS Black module was installed and configured, the turbocharged four-cylinder engine gained extra 68 hp (51 kW) along with 80 Nm (59 lb-ft) of torque. At 340 hp (254 kW) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) total, the sedan has surpassed even the latest Volkswagen Golf R in terms of raw power.
RaceChip says nothing about the standard sprint time, but mentions that the car now only needs 14.7 seconds to get from 100 to 200 km/h (62 – 124 mph, respectively). The stock version accomplishes the same in 18 seconds at best.
