Someone spotted a conspicuous-looking third-generation Skoda Superb cruising around in partial camo and snapped some photos. A closer look confirmed that it was actually a fourth-gen test mule hiding new tech under an old body.
The new liftback shares the architecture with the Volkswagen Passat and is expected to come in a variety of gasoline and diesel versions to choose from, as well as FWD and AWD variants. It could also get an all-electric and a plug-in hybrid powertrain, although this remains to be confirmed.
There is little to be seen on the photos, but you can look at them yourself and compare to the old-generation Skoda Superb in the attached video to see if anything catches your eye.
