Skoda reveals the interiors of the 2024MY Kodiaq & Superb

Skoda has shared some images taken in the cabins of its facelifted Kodiaq and Superb. The two SUVs run on the same platform and have nearly identical interiors with only the dashboard shape being slightly different. Both come equipped with Skoda’s largest infotainment display yet and a control hub known as Smart Dials.

The instrument cluster is represented by a 10-inch digital display, while the multimedia screen is installed separately and is 13 inches large. Some of the information is displayed on the windshield thanks to a HUD projector.

Three rotary knobs under the head unit have tiny 32mm (1.25”) displays built into them to let users assign custom functions to them. The left and the right dial can be used for HVAC temperature control, seat heating and ventilation adjustment (separately for the driver and the front passenger) and the like. The middle dial can be set up to cycle between a maximum of four functions out of six total.

The drive mode selector has moved to the steering column, freeing up space for a 15W wireless charging pad. The ergonomic seats received a new air massage feature.

Skoda said it planned to use exclusively eco-friendly materials in its future cars, including these two. This mainly implies recycled polyester fabric, but eco-tanned leather is also on the list. The umbrella traditionally included with every Superb purchase will also be made from reprocessed materials.
