Skoda has posted another portion of photos of its new Superb – a liftback this time around.
In its latest design iteration, the car is 4,912 mm (191.9 in) long – 43 mm (1.7 in) longer than before. The wheelbase stays the same at 2,841 mm (111 in), but those in the back row should get a bit more legroom for themselves. The trunk size has also increased slightly – to 645 liters (22.78 cubic feet).
The base version now runs on a 1.5-liter turbo engine assisted by a starter-generator for 150 PS (148 hp / 110 kW) total. The lithium-ion battery on board is compact but can be charged up through regenerative braking.
The top spec gets two 2.0-liter petrol engines rated at 204 and 265 PS (201 and 261 hp; 150 and 190 kW, respectively). It is also available with same-sized diesels rated at 150 and 193 PS (148 and 190 hp; 110 and 142 kW).
The two strongest engines on the list support all-wheel drive. The transmission is seven-speed dual-clutch in all cases.
