Skoda Superb gains new sporty and deluxe trims

Skoda has expanded the Superb vehicle lineup with two new trim versions – Sportline and Laurin&Klement. Both are based on the latest generation that went into production in December 2023 (see video) and are obtainable in liftback and wagon flavors with any powertrain you choose.

Starting with the Laurin&Klement (L&K), it flaunts special badges and black-out chrome bits all around. Matrix LED headlights and adaptive shock absorbers are included as standard, as are new 18-inch wheels.

A peek into the cabin reveals ultra-comfortable seats with power adjustments, preset memory and massage features. There is also a 10-speaker Canton audio system on board with a single subwoofer. The whole interior is trimmed with perforated black leather by default, but you can go for Cognac Red if you like it.

As for the Sportline, it also gets a blackout package along with some extra body kit parts and 18-inch wheels. Paying extra lets you choose from multiple 19-inch designs. In any case, the chassis gets numerous tweaks and drops 15 mm (0.6 inches) closer to the ground in this version. The DCC Plus adaptive suspension that comes standard with the L&K is a paid option here.

For the interior, buyers are choosing from two ergonomic bucket seat designs. A new steering wheel, metallic pedal pads, a black headliner and faux carbon accents round off the list.
