Car manufacturer Smart is getting its Forease+ concept EV ready to make an entrance at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show in Switzerland. In the meantime, the company has released the first teaser sketch of the vehicle.
Based on the image, the new EV seems inspired by the Smart Forease model the company unveiled in 2018. The new Plus car sports a slightly different body design (accents in orange instead of green) and new wheels. More importantly, it comes with a removable top (hard to say whether it is hard or soft, though).
Smart built the original Forease concept EV to celebrate an anniversary last year.
By 2020, the carmaker plans to discontinue the production of its more conventional, fossil fuel-powered models and concentrate fully on releasing all-electric cars.
