Cars & Bids is selling a most unusual 2012 SmartForTwo conversion that sees the tame city car transform into an over-the-top off-roader.
The entire list of modifications is pretty extensive, so we are going to focus on just the highlights. The car pictured on the photos here rides on 30-inch tires wrapped around 15-inch stainless-steel rims and makes use of an 8-inch lift kit with coilovers. It has underside protection, a roof rack, multiple LED lighting units, a winch at the front, and an external safety cage.
The cabin remains almost entirely stock, as does the powertrain. This means that a five-speed automatic transmission still drives the rear wheels with 70 PS (69 hp / 51 kW) obtained from a three-cylinder engine.
If this Smart ForTwo happens to be your cup of tea, watch the attached video for another, even wilder-looking example.
