Car tuning atelier Brabus has revealed an option package for the Smart ForTwo Cabrio, titled the 125R. The urban car received designer-made wheels, lowered suspension and three exhaust pipes reminiscent of those seen on the Ferrari 458. The company will issue a limited series of 125 cars priced at €40,000 each.
The new Brabus 125R offers leather-draped sport seats, an anodized paddle shifter, a heavy-duty handbrake and aluminum pedal pads – in other words, things you would expect a serious sport car to have.
The vehicle is still driven by its stock three-cylinder turbocharged engine boosted to 125 hp (93 kW) and 200 Nm (148 lb·ft) of torque. It accelerates 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) in slightly above 9 seconds and may eventually hit 175 km/h.
