A 2006 Spyker C8 Spyder has just found a new owner for $272,000 USD. The car was sold ‘as new’ with only around 5,600 km (3,480 miles) on the odo.
Assembled for Europe, the sports car was imported into the United States 11 years ago. As an entry spec, it uses a 4.2-liter Audi V8 to drive the wheels with 400 PS (394 hp / 294 kW). Higher specifications offered up to 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW). A six-speed manual gearbox is standard for all configurations.
This particular example sports a silver body contrasted against diamond-stitched black leather in the cabin. It rocks Koni shock absorbers, Eibach springs, AP Racing six-piston calipers, 19-inch wheels, and an active valve exhaust system.
The European spec had a rather interesting four-spoke steering wheel, but this one was retrofitted with a US-spec wheel. The winning bidder also got a set of Spyker suitcases with the car.
Regarding technical condition: the hood was repainted once and the engine received some maintenance earlier this year, but other than that, the car is reported to be almost new.
