SsangYong to debut its all-new e-SIV crossover in Geneva

The South Korean car manufacturer SsangYong said it would bring an all-new crossover SUV concept named e-SIV to the International Motor show in Geneva, Switzerland. The vehicle is destined to replace the series-produced Korando / Actyon model currently on the market.

The SsangYong e-SIV prototype sports a massive radiator grille, LED headlamps, and an electric motor with 190 hp under its disposal. The car can accelerate to a maximum of 150 km/h (93 mph) and travel up to 450 km (280 mi) before full battery discharge.

SsangYong had previously come forth with an ambitious announcement saying it would produce an entire family of environmentally-friendly cars which would include both all-electric and hybrid models. Their production should begin in 2020.
