The South Korean automobile manufacturer SsangYong Motor Company has released a special Tivoli Black Edition SUV series in Italy. This is the first of the three special editions the company plans to release in the nearest future.
The Tivoli Black Edition ships with a jet-black body, including the side mirror holders and the 18-inch wheels. Its interior is also decorated in a dark gamma and includes such options as cruise control, a rear view camera, an infotainment system with a sensor display, emergency brake system, and frontal collision warning.
The engine palette still consists of three 1.6-liter engines: a gasoline one with 128 hp / 95 kW, a diesel one with 115 hp / 86 kW and one working on natural gas. Transmission choices include manual and automatic. Drive can be front or rear.
The new SsangYong Tivoli Black Edition costs €21,200 and above.
Two more special editions of the SsangYong Tivoli will be released in 2018 as part of the K Collection series. Their pricing and specifications are being held secret so far, and no mention has been made regarding the intention to release the series outside of Italy.
There is also an elongated SsangYong Tivoli XLV currently on the market, only different from the base model in terms of its exterior appearance. Despite the larger dimensions, it still has the same amount of interior space and ships with the same selection of engines.
