SsangYong has taken its new crossover SUV, the Torres, out for some pre-production tests. The model is expected to go on sale worldwide, so let us have a closer look.
As you can see, the prototype lacks exhaust pipes and even reveals a bottom-mounted battery pack on some photos. Compared to its gas-powered counterpart (see video), the Torres EV sports a different exterior and a new cabin as well. Among other things, it has a new digital gauge cluster raised above the dash panel.
The current SsangYong EV lineup consists of just one production car, the Korando e-Motion. It has 340 PS (335 hp / 250 kW) at its disposal and offers 340 km (211 miles) of range per charge.
