Stellantis admits having ongoing issues with suppliers

The U.S. automotive corporation has been struggling to procure car parts from third parties lately, and seems to be blaming them for being greedy.

According to reports coming from these third parties, they are being forced to abide by extremely strict shipping deadlines and price limits. Furthermore, they claim that the corporation is constantly accusing them of being too slow and greedy.

For its own part, Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares said in a recent interview that the company was actively considering launching its own car parts production in order to cut costs and avoid broken deadlines. He admitted that procuring parts had become difficult.

He also commented on the situation with the trade unions in Italy, pointing out that there had been some progress in the negotiations.
