The concept is the advanced version of the last year's Japanese conceptual model of Subaru XV .
The Crosstrek car is based on the new global SGP platform developed by engineers of Subaru with the purpose to increase the level of safety of the cars. The novelty's exterior in many respects is a continuation of design of conceptual model XV . The main changes were reflected in the modified head lights and the underestimated line of a cowl. Dimensions also were increased a little: length makes 4.52 meters, width — 1.92 meters, height — 1.57, and the wheelbase reached 2.67 meters.
The latest steel alloys applied at assembly increased body stiffness. The concept also received massive 19-inch rims. It is supposed that the Subaru XV Crosstrek will have an opposite engineunder a cowl.
The Subaru XV Crosstrek will become one of the first exhibition samples at the Montreal auto show which will open the doors for general public in several hours. In total it is expected that it'll be shown up about 500 cars in Canadian exhibition .
