Can you take a purebred rally car and turn it into a road-legal vehicle suitable for everyday driving? Apparently, you can!
This is exactly such a car, specifically a Subaru Impreza 22B STI WRC made in Japan and converted by ProDrive. Compared to its cross-county-capable counterpart, it boasts widened wheel arches and fenders, a larger rear wing, and a ventilated hood with characteristic ‘nostrils’.
A Subaru S204 STi engine toils under the hood, delivering up to 320 horsepower (239 kilowatts) to the wheels by means of a six-speed manual transmission.
