Subaru has announced the launch of an all-electric Evoltis SUV next year, its first production EV and also one co-designed with Toyota.
Interestingly enough, the exterior of the car evokes German automotive market vibes. For one, the hexagonal grille screams “Audi”.
While not official, sources are reporting that the 2022 Evoltis will sport video cameras instead of mirrors, a high-end infotainment system, wireless gadget charging, and an SAE Level 3 self-driving system. The e-TNGA platform used means that the car can get a battery as large as 100 kWh, which should translate into around 600 kilometers (400 miles) of range.
