The updated Subaru Legacy sedan is presented to public

The North American compartment of Subaru will show the planned restyling Legacy sedan at Chicago Auto Show on 9th February.  The main changes concerned its design, the technical component slightly changed.

The model got LED fog lights, an updated grille, a front bumper, wheel rims and an exhaust pipe. Also, two new colores, gray Magnetite Gray Metallic and red Crimson Red Pearl are available. The trim, steering wheel, multi-media system and its screens, climate control unit were replaced inside. Engineers said, that the sound insulation in the interior was improved, the motor vibration is almost not felt by the new chain variator.

New Legacy can also boast by improved chassis, suspension and braking system. There is no changings under the hood: the car is set in motion by the same 175 and 256 horsepowers atmospheric motors. As it is already said above, the transmission is presented by a variator.

Safety is provided by the cruise control system, prevention of frontal crashes and the warning of an exit from a lane. There was a system that is responsible for the air pressure in the tires.  Also, the car has a function of changing the direction of the headlamp beam when cornering (Steering Responsive Headlight) and automatic switching of dipped and main beam, depending on the situation on the road.

The sixth generation of the midsize sedan was presented at Chicago Auto Show three years ago. Restyled Subaru Legacy will arrive to USA in summer in 2017. The prices for the model will be announced closer to its release.
