As promised, Subaru unveiled a special edition of its BRZ coupe during Subiefest California this weekend. The official press release is pending, but the automaker’s branch office in North America has already revealed some specifics.
The car is called ‘tS’ like in its very first generation and comes equipped with Brembo performance brakes front and rear. You can spot the gold-hued calipers on the photos. Aside form that, it benefits from tweaked STI suspension and rides on Hitachi shock absorbers, although the latter info is not official and comes from Subiefest attendees.
Subaru also mentions new 18-inch wheels and slight design changes outside and in the cabin. Visitors of the event claim that the tS version will remain in the BRZ family for good, rather than being a one-time limited run.
