Subaru has announced some specifications of its upcoming limited-edition BRZ tS coupe. Apparently the model will be offered largely in the United States with added sports car accents and tweaked suspension.
Like the reports from this weekend suggested, the car rides on Hitachi shocks at both axles and benefits from suspension tweaks made by the STI division. Standard brakes make room for Brembo four-piston calipers finished in gold, the wheels are 18 inches large and the mirror caps are black. The interior houses sport seats and has blue accents throughout.
Powering the BRZ tS is a 2.4-liter flat-four engine rated at 228 PS (225 hp / 168 kW). The transmission is six-speed manual, and a limited-slip differential is included. Contrary to its usual practice, Subaru offers the car with its EyeSight assist package normally reserved for A/T models.
Sales in the USA will begin next year.
