Following the launch of the Subaru Outback Wilderness Edition early this year (watch the video if you missed it), the company has now teased another model from the same lineup. It looks like the Forester is used as a starting point this time.
The image shows a Subaru Wilderness badge sitting on the driver’s door right behind the front fender. A side mirror partially seen next to it appears to be mounted on a sharp bend, which essentially means it could only be the Forester SUV – no other Subaru has mirrors mounted like that.
Another teaser pic focuses on custom wheel designs and a protective body kit finished in black. What we cannot see, of course, is all the technical stuff. Back when the Outback Wilderness debuted, it did so with revised suspension, higher ground clearance, bumpers redesigned to maximize off-road traversability, new wheels shod in meaty tires, and skid plates.
