The new generation of the popular Subaru Forester SUV will debut at the forthcoming International Auto Show in New-York, U.S.A., Subaru stated on the official website. It also revealed the first teaser pic of the vehicle.
Based on what we know, the fifth-generation Subaru Forester gets assembled on the Subaru’s proprietary Global Platform – just like all the other recent cars of the brand. It should come with a few of 1.6L and 2.0L engine options to choose from, and perhaps a hybrid variant as well.
For reference, the current generation of Subaru Forester ships with a choice of 2.0L and 2.5L engines ranging from 150 to 241 horsepower.
