Subaru has posted a single photo of an enigmatic vehicle it will be bringing to this year’s Auto Show in Los Angeles. The car is said to be ‘completely new’ and ‘designed from scratch’, but this image alone is not enough to say which one it is.
All we can see is a wheel sporting an original design and a side sill. Carscoops believes Subaru is preparing the next Forester generation for debut. The company has five SUVs on sale right now, but two out of those – the Crosstrek and the Outback – have only recently been facelifted, while the third one – the Solterra EV – only went on sale last year.
The fourth one, the Ascent, is mainly targeted towards the U.S. market. It is possible that the teaser is related to the Ascent, but Carscoops believes that the side sill looks much more like that of the latest Forester, which has been around since 2018 (shown in the rest of the gallery and the video below).
However it is, Subaru will be unveiling the car on November 16, so all we need to do is wait.
