The 8th 2004 Subaru Impreza WRC rally car to have been built will soon go up on sale with a history to itself: Petter Solberg drove it to a victory in the first race in June that year, and proceeded to win the WRC Japan stage that fall.
According to the OEM documents, the car is now in the same technical condition as it was 17 years ago, having been completely restored. It is the only Impreza rally car in the world to have been built by Prodrive and restored by Prodrive Legends.
The seller expects to get between £385,000 and £450,000 out of the deal.
