Ken Block puts his legendary Subaru up for sale for $53k

Worldwide famous racing driver and car aficionado Ken Block is selling his 2002 Subaru WRX STi, which he piloted to his very first racing victory. The ride is attractively priced at U.S. $53,000.

Vermont SportsCar handled the conversion of the road-legal sports car into a rally projectile, landing it with a 2.0-liter turbo, six-speed stick shift, stiff suspension, AWD and other typical rally-themed upgrades. The cabin was stripped of everything not strictly necessary for racing, leaving only the basic levers and switches, the steering wheel, a robust roll cage, and Recaro bucket seats.

Ken Block’s first rally championship was in March 2006; he drove with confidence, leaving competition far behind.
