Subaru has extremely little to hide with its still-to-be-unveiled Solterra SUV, because it is a nearly complete copy of the Toyota bz4Х (and you can easily zoom in on the teasers to review the changed elements). But the automaker still thinks it has our attention, so here’s a wheel arch for all those interested.
The front fenders look rather massive, with black flares lending the soft-roader a convincing SUV-like aura. Then again, we have also seem the same on the Toyota mentioned above. Both come based on the e-TNGA platform and come in two drive variants (FWD and 4WD). The latter uses two electric motors rated at 218 PS (215 hp / 160 kW) and has 460 km (285 miles) of range. The front-wheel-drive version has 500 km (310 miles) of range under its hood.
The official premiere is right around the corner: the Subaru Solterra debuts tomorrow, November 11. Maybe then we will learn how else it is different from the bz4Х.
