The all-electric Subaru Solterra is ready to reach the United States this summer, and the company has just revealed what trim levels will be available.
The crossover SUV shares its e-TNGA underpinnings with the Toyota bZ4X. The underlying architecture was co-designed by Subaru and Toyota to support a variety of EVs with the drive on the front, rear, or both axles.
The car is 4,690 mm (183 inches) long, 1,860 mm (73 inches) wide and 1,650 mm (64 inches) tall with 2,850 mm (111 inches) spanning the axles.
For the time being, the AWD X-Mode is the only configuration available. Its dual electric motors produce 215.7 hp (213 hp / 159 kW) and 336 Nm (248 lb-ft) of torque together. A 71.4-kWh traction battery yields up to 366 km (227 miles) of range.
As far as the trims are concerned, the starting point is called Premium and costs $44,995. It comes with 18-inch wheels, a 7-inch digital dash, an 8-inch infotainment display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, and the EyeSight safety package.
Opting for the $48,495 Limited trim nets you a 12.3-inch central display, all-around view cameras, parking assist, Harman Kardon audio, nine adjustments for the driver’s seat, LED anti-fog lights, and 20-inch wheels.
At the top of the line is a $51,995 Touring spec with a rearview display in addition to a mirror, ventilated front seats, dimmable panoramic roof, and LED running boards. $890 buys you a two-tone exterior.
Offline sales and deliveries will begin in summer.
