Subaru sheds some light on its TAS-2023 lineup

Like many other manufacturers, Subaru has now revealed its plans for the upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon. If you visit the booth, you will see a handful of special editions scheduled for production, a couple of concepts, a new Impreza STI and a few track weapons as well.

The sixth-generation Impreza (see the gallery below) has only been available in the United States so far, but it looks like Subaru will be bringing it to its domestic market of Japan soon. The scope of modifications from STI is unknown, but it is safe to say that some of those will later trickle down into the main STI model on sale.

The Levorg will get a version called STI Sport #. Rumor has it that it will be an STI Sport R EX spec destined for a limited production run with chassis tweaks and some upgraded equipment on board.

Aside from these, Subaru will be bringing two completely different-looking concept vehicles to the show, united under the same ‘Boost Gear’ badge. One is a particularly tiny crossover SUV named the Boost Gear Rex, while the other is a tuned Crosstrek. Both will showcase their capabilities in the active leisure department.
