Subaru XV gets turned into a rally-capable high-rider

Crawford Performance obviously drew inspiration from the Subaru Crosstrek Desert Racer when it designed this tuning kit for the XV.

Compared against its stock counterpart, the car boasts whopping 270 millimeters (10.55 inches) of ground clearance, a vivid blue/yellow paintjob, additional lights and bottom guards, and robust all-terrain tires.

The suspension spacers alone cost $550, and only 10 sets have been produced so far, so customers will have to wait for more sets to be released. Set aside another $160 if you want the aluminum guard plate for the engine and get ready to pay for the stainless-steel running boards and the tires when they become available.

The rally-themed tuning kit tries to bring the Subaru XV closer to the Crosstrek Desert Racer, which you can see in the video here. The buggy debuted a few years ago and packed a powerful 304hp (227kW) engine under the hood. Crawford Performance itself actively participated in designing it.
