The Subaru Crosstrek is entering the model year 2023 in the USA with several major changes. All trims now cost $550 more, and there is a new high-end trim level called Special Edition, which slots in between Premium and Sport.
The Crosstrek SE comes finished in an exclusive shade called Desert Khaki. It rides on 17-inch, dark grey wheels and boasts a plethora of black accents in the cabin. Contrast stitching helps offset the predominantly black trim inside.
Other than that, the equipment is identical to the Premium spec, with the exception of an 8-inch infotainment display in the SE.
For the powertrain, you still get to choose between a 2.0-liter four-cylinder (154 PS / 152 hp / 114 kW), a 2.5-liter engine with 182 hp (185 PS / 136 kW), and a hybrid capable of 148 hp (150 PS / 110 kW).
