Maruti Suzuki released the advanced version Wagon R compact MPV for the Indian car market.
At the same time, the model is the budget, in spite of all the improvements.
Wagon R differs from the standard version in the changed head and back optics, a radiator grillel, an interior coloring, a new climate control. Inside the salon there also appeared a projection screen, and safety now will be ensured by the systems of automatic braking, switching headlights and prevention of frontal collision with function of pedestrian recognition.
The company also notes, that technical characteristics are also improved:there is the 0,6-liter engine, generating capacity of 53 horsepowers, or the hybrid power plant with an additional electric motor under the hood. The automatic transmission is in pair with it. There is the platform Wagon R — Heartect.
High-strength steel is more widely used in a body, the overall weight of the car has slightly decreased.
The cost of Wagon R is 469 840 rupees, that at the moment is about 470 thousand rubles at the rate , the top model of one of the most budget compact MPVs in the world will cost 517 253 rupees (517 thousand rubles).
