The two automakers are working on a baby crossover running on electric power for Japan, Europe and India. BestCarWeb says it will be the production version of the bZ Small Crossover Concept (in the gallery below).
Back when Toyota premiered the concept car, it stayed silent about its specifications, but it looked like a subcompact vehicle under 4 meters (13.1 feet) long. If so, it could end up being smaller than the Yaris Cross.
Suzuki may be interested in producing its own, slightly larger version of the car. According to unconfirmed sources, the company hinted at what it may look like back in January, while revealing the eVX Concept (see video).
