As it turned out – quite unexpectedly – Suzuki has been working on a long-wheelbase version of its Jimny SUV. Note the much larger inter-axe spacing on the spy shots.
Curiously enough, the car still has three doors and otherwise looks stock. Earlier rumors had held that an LWB variant of the Jimny would have five doors; apparently, this is not yet the case. Then again, knowing Suzuki, such a version may come out in India later.
Like its standard-sized counterpart, the Jimny will utilize a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine rated at 102 PS (101 hp / 75 kW).
