The Suzuki Jimny refuses to leave the market of Australia, and even has a police version there as of this week.
Dubbed the Sergeant Jim, the vehicle seen here will be used to patrol Macquarie Island. It wears a bright livery that we are told should blend nicely into the environment and has five doors. A Jimny might not make the fastest pursuit vehicle, but according to the police officer who took delivery of this example, it won’t engage in any pursuits.
