The Suzuki Swift Sport Katana Edition pays homage to the Katana bike series, which was legendary back in its time and has recently been resurrected.
The Japanese automaker launched a similar special edition in Netherlands last year, but the new one boasts a widebody kit and new aerodynamic parts.
The hatchback shares the main paint scheme with the iconic bike series while sporting red and black accents here and there. It also has redesigned bumpers, larger side sills and exhaust pipes, and wide red/black rims clad in Yokohama rubber.
Inside, the car boasts expensive titanium-plated dashboard, center console, and door cards. There is red stitching to be found on the wheel, the gear selector and the seats, and a Katana badge sits in front of the front passenger.
The technical specs are not there yet. The stock Suzuki Swift Sport comes powered by a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine rated at 138 hp (100 kW), which links to a six-speed manual gearbox.
