Suzuki has begun unveiling the next-generation Swift lineup. The hatchback has stayed virtually identical to its concept version on the outside (see video), and it looks like the same applies to the chassis. Pre-ordering is already open in Japan.
The car has the same radiator grille as the concept, as well as a sculpted shoulder line and chrome accents all around. Inside, it sports an updated dashboard, a revised HVAC control panel, and a new 9-inch infotainment display. An improved assist package is already included in the base spec.
In its simplest version, the new Suzuki Swift makes do with a 1.2-liter petrol engine. Higher specs get a starter generator for more torque when needed. The only transmission available is variable. The output numbers remain to be revealed.
